Our Story

The CCDAT was born from the urgent need to raise awareness and strengthen the Dominican community residing in Texas, a growing, hardworking, and entrepreneurial diaspora that deserved formal spaces for representation and growth.

After years of scattered individual and community efforts, a group of Dominicans, led by the desire to join forces, decided to establish an institution that proudly reflects our identity, fosters entrepreneurship, defends our interests, and connects us with opportunities in both the U.S. and the Dominican Republic.

The official inauguration was held on July 24, 2025, in Houston, Texas, marking a historic milestone for the Dominican diaspora in the Lone Star State. From that moment on, we embarked on a firm path toward consolidating a network of business, culture, and mutual collaboration.

Corporate Purpose:

• To promote the economic and business development of Dominicans in Texas and the Dominican Republic.

• Create training and development spaces for entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders.

• Promote strategic networking and institutional relationships with public and private entities in both countries.

• Serve as a cultural and commercial link between the Dominican diaspora in Texas and the Dominican nation, with an ethical, inclusive, and sustainable approach.
